Grievance Procedure

  1. If you are not satisfied with the services of Land of Lincoln or believe you have been denied services wrongly, you may make a complaint to the Managing Attorney in charge of the office that served you.  You should make the complaint within 10 days of the occurrence giving rise to your complaint.
  2. To make a written complaint, send a completed Complaint Form to the Managing Attorney in charge of the office that served you.  You can get a blank Complaint Form by clicking on this link and opening and printing the form using Adobe Acrobat Reader or by contacting any one of the offices of Land of Lincoln and asking them to send you a blank Complaint Form.  The Managing Attorney will review your complaint and attempt to resolve it.
  3. If you are not satisfied with the Managing Attorney’s response, you may have your complaint reviewed by the Executive Director by writing the Executive Director’s Office within five (5) business days after the Managing Attorney’s decision.  The Executive Director will attempt to resolve your complaint.
